Terms of use

1. General provisions

These terms set out how the Tingo platform may be used. By using the platform, you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

Your account is opened through Google. You are responsible for your account's security. If suspicious activity is detected, your account may be temporarily restricted.

3. Subscriptions and payments

Some books and chapters are available only with an active subscription. Payment services are not launched yet. This section will be updated with practical terms (cancellation, refund procedure) once payments are activated.

4. For authors and publishers (Studio)

By uploading a manuscript or other text material through Studio, you confirm that you hold the publishing rights to that material, or that you have all the permissions necessary to have it narrated and published on the platform.

Uploading material that infringes a third party's copyright is prohibited. Responsibility for any claims arising from such a case lies with the person who uploaded it.

5. Intellectual property

The audiobooks, design, and software on the platform belong to Tingo or the relevant rights holders. Copying, distributing, or commercially using the content without permission is prohibited.

6. Prohibited actions

Using the platform for unlawful purposes, overloading the service through automated means, or harming other users is prohibited.

7. Limitation of liability

Tingo works to keep the service running smoothly, but does not accept liability for indirect damages that may result from technical faults.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. We'll announce significant changes on the site.
